This year’s Parade home at 478 Rebekah Court, Coralville holds deep personal significance for me and my family. It’s more than just a beautifully built house—it’s a homage to my late wife, Amy, and the legacy she left behind in both design and life.
The home is a reimagined version of the floor plan we’ve lived in for the past 16 years, thoughtfully updated for today’s lifestyle. Designed by Amy and originally built for our family, this is the first time the plan has been recreated and shared publicly. Elevation Homebuilders brought it to life with care, intention, and respect for her vision.
Inside the study, you’ll find a photo and handwritten tribute—a quiet, emotional space that honors Amy’s influence not just on our home, but on the homes of so many others.
Below are a few photos of our current home—the original plan that inspired this year’s build. It’s a design filled with memory, meaning, and now, a new chapter.
