Summer’s official kickoff means one of my favorite events of the year—the Iowa City Parade of Homes—a curated tour showcasing the latest in residential design, floor plan innovation, and lifestyle trends. This year features 14 new builds and 3 remodels, each packed with jaw-dropping features you can see, touch, and get inspired by in person. From prep kitchens hidden behind statement islands to warm earthy palettes, soaring ceilings, and mudrooms that deserve their own MLS listings, 2025 is all about scale, warmth, and thoughtful living.
